While the Charlottesville City Market has been going on for a few weeks now, our other markets are opening this weekend.  The Nelson County Farmer’s Market begins Saturday, May 2nd from 8-12.  It is located in the town of Nellysford on Rt. 151.

Also, we are participating in the annual Pre-Mother’s Day Plant Sale at Rockfish Valley Ruritan Park (in front of the Rockfish Valley Community Center) on Sunday, May 3rd from 9-3.  We have lots of plant starts available - herbs, flowers, and vegetables.  Plus there are many other vendors with lots of great plants for landscaping, fruitscaping, annuals and perennials.  Come check it out and maybe take home something for your Mom and yourself!

The Lexington Farmer’s Market also begins in May and the first market is Wednesday, May 6th.  The market is in downtown Lexington in the parking lot on Jefferson Street behind the Southern Inn Restaurant.  The market is open from 8-1.
